I go to a gym but I'm not really sure what sort of workouts I should be doing to lose weight. Like, which machines are ideal for wight loss/toning?
weight loss comes from what you’re eating- calories in vs calories out.
exercise improves your fitness levels and tones your body. all machines can help you reach your toning goals.
fitness wise: you need to do cardio around 240 minutes of cardio a week and 120 minutes of strength training a week to aid in weight loss and improve fitness goals. for strength, as a beginner you want to do around 3 sets of 12-15 reps on each exercise you do (aim for around 6-8).
just because your idea of a good time is curling up with a book and hers is doing tequila shots does not make you a better person than her
